Normal operations resume at Lagos airport Terminal 2 after fire scare

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has confirmed that normal operations have resumed at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, following an earlier fire incident.
FAAN said passengers are being processed and flight activities are continuing as scheduled.
In its earlier alert, the agency said its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service was deployed promptly to contain the situation, adding that no casualties or loss of life were recorded.
The authority later confirmed that the disruption had been brought under control.
A FAAN statement quoted the agency as saying, “Normal operations have resumed at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, following the earlier incident. Passengers are being processed, and flight activities are continuing as scheduled.”
Photos from the terminal show passenger activity back in motion, including check-in queues, luggage handling and travellers moving through the facility.
The images suggest operations have returned to normal at the airport terminal.
