Odu’a Investment Company opens Lagos liaison office

Odu’a Investment Company Limited, on Wednesday, officially opened its Lagos Liaison office.

During the opening ceremony at Western House, 8/10 Broad Street, the Group Chairman, Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL), Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, said the event marked the culmination of a strategic decision that underscores its commitment to excellence and innovation.

“The liaison office will serve as a communication bridge between the holding company and the investing community,” he said.

He said the facilities in the Lagos liaison office includes an executive office, modern board room with teleconference equipment, lounge, meeting rooms and kitchenettes.

“What we are commissioning today is more than a mere physical space but a strategic asset that will facilitate easy asses to the business community, communication, and a step towards fostering international relationships and navigating the ever-evolving landscape of global business with finesses in our drive to be a world class conglomerate,” he said.

The Group Managing Director/CEO, Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL), Mr Abdulrahman Yinusa, said the official opening of OICL Lagos liaison office is a testament to its resilience, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

He said, “It is a symbol of the collective strength and vision that defines Odu’a Investment Company Limited.

“We are commissioning today tastefully well-furnished offices and board room that will act as an information hub centre for gathering market intelligence, conducting research and facilitating collaboration between OICL and potential business partners, clients or shareholders.

“Because of this multi-faceted role, we have – South West Agribusiness Company (SWAgCo) and South West Innovation and Tech Company (SWIT) as neighboring offices in facilitating cross-border interactions, fostering international relationship and expanding the frontier of OICL.”

He noted that the new OICL Lagos liaison office has been well structured for comfortability and ease of operation for better proficiency.

The GMD acknowledged distinguished individuals who have played a pivotal role in shaping its success.

Giving his goodwill message, the Director-General, Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, Dr. Seye Oyeleye, said OICL holds a unique place in the heart of every Yoruba person.

“Therefore we are not simply witnessing the expansion of a business entity, but the continuation of a grand vision that has shaped the collective social, political, and economic aspirations of Southwest Nigeria,” he said.

He said OICL carries the weighty responsibility of living up to this lofty ideal set by its founding fathers.
