Okpebholo sworn in as Edo governor

Senator Monday Okpebholo has been sworn in as the executive governor of Edo State follow his election victory.
The swearing-in took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the capital of Edo State on Tuesday.
The event occurred in the presence of the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, the outgoing Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, the Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, and the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulraza Abdulrahman.

The duo who are of the All Progressives Congress defeated the Peoples Democratic Party backed by Godwin Obaseki who led the state from 2016, Dailyeconomy reports.
