STACO Insurance Plc held a heartfelt Night of Tribute yesterday to honour their former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, the late Dr. Olawale Omotunde Banmore. The event took place at the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) Secretariat in Lagos and drew a wide array of stakeholders from Nigeria’s insurance sector.

Attendees included representatives from the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), NCRIB, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), and other key industry players, all paying tribute to Dr. Banmore’s remarkable contributions to the sector.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Nike Nihinlola, Acting Managing Director and CEO of STACO Insurance Plc, described Dr. Banmore as a visionary leader whose energy and dedication left a lasting impact. “You have a lot of energy to make things work, and you are a man who was always surrounded by your friends. It is very difficult for us to come to terms with your transition to eternity. Our major consolation is that you came, you saw and you conquered,” she said.

The tribute night celebrated Dr. Banmore’s enduring legacy in the insurance industry and underscored the profound respect and admiration he commanded among colleagues, peers, and the broader financial services community.
