Police arrest two suspects for vandalising railway in Lagos‬

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended two individuals for vandalising the railway perimeter iron fence at Oshodi-Agege Motor Road.

The arrest was confirmed in a post shared on the Lagos Police Command X (formally Twitter) handle on Saturday.

The post stated that the officers of the Ilupeju division responded to information from a concerned citizen that led to the arrest of the two suspects.

The post reads, “Officers of Ilupeju division after receiving information from a concerned citizen, arrested the duo of Kelvin Louis ‘m’ aged 23 and Onyedikachi Paul ‘m’ aged 29, in the act of vandalizing railway perimeter iron fence at Oshodi-Agege Motor Road.”

The police however noted that a thorough investigation is going on and the needful would be done after the investigation.

Dailyeconomy reported on June 30, 2024, that the Lagos patrol team from the Ilemba Hausa Division apprehended two armed robbers and recovered a firearm in the Imude area, Ojo Local Government, Lagos.
