Real Madrid has been named the world’s most valuable football club for the fifth consecutive year and the tenth time in the last 13 editions of Forbes’ annual ranking, the magazine reported on Friday.

Forbes values the Spanish giant at $9.5 billion — $2 billion more than the runner-up — after a year that saw a 41% increase in the club’s estimated worth.

“Forbes emphasised that Real Madrid generated revenues of $1.265 billion during the 2024/2025 season, 12% more than the previous year,” the report says, noting that the figure even surpasses the $1.230 billion recorded by the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

The result, Forbes adds, makes Real Madrid “the sports club with the highest revenues ever recorded by Forbes.”

The publication credited the club’s mix of on-field success and commercial strength for its rise.

“Real Madrid combines unprecedented sporting success with one of the most recognisable brands in world football,” Forbes wrote, pointing to the club’s record number of Champions League titles, its global commercial appeal, “and massive sponsorship deals thanks to its star players and the renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.”
