Trabzonspor, Manchester United reach agreement to re-loan André Onana

Trabzonspor have reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United to re-sign goalkeeper André Onana on loan, with the Turkish club set to pay a loan fee as final details are completed, sources say.
Onana, who spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Trabzonspor and played an influential role in the club’s Turkish Cup triumph, is reportedly not part of Manchester United’s plans for the coming campaign.
Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu was among those to report the agreement, which sees the Cameroon international returning to Trabzon as both clubs iron out the remaining contractual points.
The expected loan — a continuation of Onana’s time away from Old Trafford would see Trabzonspor cover a loan fee payable to United.
Club officials and the player are understood to be finalising personal terms and administrative details before the move is officially announced.
