Trent Alexander-Arnold was visibly moved to tears at Anfield as he shared an emotional moment with his family and passionately kissed the Liverpool badge, marking a heartfelt farewell to the club he has served since childhood.

“From the bottom of my heart I hope that one day the fans, supporters will recognise what I did for the team,” Trent said, his voice filled with emotion.

He added, “There was never a minute I didn’t think about the team, since I was six years old, it’s always about Liverpool.”

Reflecting on the overwhelming reception from the fans, Trent expressed, “To get the reception I got, means a lot for me… I never felt so loved! From the bottom of my heart, I hope the fans recognise the 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 I did over the years.”
