Troops neutralise suspected Boko Haram terrorist

The troops of the Joint Task Force (NE) Operation Hadin Kai, troops have successfully killed one suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorist in an ambush operation conducted in Kaga Local Government Area, Borno State.
The Operation was conducted by the troops of Sector 1, in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force and Hybrid Forces at Karagawaru, along Lamboa village, Borno State.
An army source who spoke with the the security analyst and counterinsurgency expert, Zagazola Makama disclosed that the troops made contact with the terrorists, slain one and the the second one escaped with gunshots maim.
“Items recovered from the scene include a locally made gun, a bicycle, a leather bag, biscuits, and a sack of salt,” the source said.
