Video: Cardi B comments on baby mama drama amid rumours of romance with Okoye

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has addressed the inevitable public fallout that often accompanies relationships involving men with ex-partners or children, following explosive allegations from Maduka Okoye’s baby mama.

The comment came after Dutch model Jelicia Westhoff, the mother of Okoye’s young child, publicly accused the Super Eagles goalkeeper of physical abuse, cheating (including with men and women), and neglecting their son while allegedly partying and moving on with other women.

The accusations surfaced around the time Okoye was spotted with Cardi B in Italy and earlier at Paris Fashion Week.

Cardi B stated, “As long as a man has a baby mama or ex-girlfriend, this is going to happen.”

The Nigerian international goalkeeper, who plays for Udinese in Italy’s Serie A, has been linked romantically to Cardi B after the pair were photographed together at high-profile events, including dinners in Venice and appearances at fashion shows in Paris.

Photos and videos showed them chatting, laughing, and spending time in each other’s company, sparking widespread dating speculation online.

Westhoff’s Instagram rant included strong claims such as: “I made you! No one knew who you was. And instead of loving us, you beat me, cheated on me with men and women. You’re a f****** demon who tried to destroy my life.”

She also expressed frustration over Okoye’s alleged absence in their child’s life.

Okoye has not publicly responded to the allegations.

Cardi B has separately addressed the intense public scrutiny surrounding her personal life, comparing herself to “hip-hop’s Britney Spears” and noting that her every move draws attention unlike other celebrities.

However, she has not confirmed or denied a romantic involvement with Okoye.
