Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has assured President Vladimir Putin on Monday that relations between Tehran and Moscow represent a “strategic partnership at the highest level,” vowing they will only strengthen regardless of external pressures.
“No matter what is happening, Russian-Iranian relations will grow stronger,” Araghchi stated during a Kremlin meeting.
The remarks underscore deepening bilateral cooperation amid shared geopolitical challenges.
Putin had earlier referenced a recent message from Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei earlier in the day, highlighting sustained high-level diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
The exchange builds on ongoing collaboration in energy, defense, and multilateral forums, as both countries navigate Western sanctions and regional tensions.
