A Nigerian lady uploaded a video detailing her experience with severely swollen lips after using a product called Attractive Kayamata lip gloss.

“I bought this attraction kayamata lipgloss and my lip started swelling up,” she said while sobbing.

This product, promoted throughout West Africa as an aphrodisiac, is said to contain unregulated herbal ingredients.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has previously issued warnings about such products, noting they may cause allergic reactions and other health issues.

In the widely circulated video, the woman voiced her discomfort over the painful swelling resulting from applying the gloss, sparking concern and reactions from online viewers.
