FC Barcelona confirmed on Wednesday that Pedri has sustained a tear in the distal biceps femoris muscle in his left thigh.

The injury occurred after Sunday’s intense El Clásico, where Real Madrid secured a 2-1 win.
Real’s goals came from Kylian Mbappé (22’) and Jude Bellingham (43’), while Fermín López (38’) scored for Barcelona assisted by Rashford.
During the match, Bellingham notably used Pedri in a dribbling sequence that set up Mbappé’s opening goal.
Despite being heavily marked and ultimately receiving a red card in the final minute, Pedri showed resilience throughout the game until this injury was confirmed after.
