A retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has bravely spoken out about the harsh reality faced by security personnel involved in shielding corrupt politicians.
“We are the ones that escort politicians after they stole public money, we follow them to hide the money in their villages,” he revealed, shedding light on the covert operations that facilitate corruption.
Despite their pivotal roles, these officers are now grappling with the injustice of unpaid wages.
The retired DSP expressed deep frustration, “Now, to pay us our entitlement is an issue.”
His words underscore a troubling neglect of those who operate in the shadows of power, ensuring the safety and secrecy of corrupt activities but left financially abandoned by the system they once served.
This statement highlights broader concerns about accountability and fair treatment for security personnel who are often caught between duty and moral conflict.
The call for urgent resolution of their unpaid entitlements is gaining momentum as more voices from within the security forces emerge.
