Jubilant voices echoed through the streets of Ibadan as His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, motorcade was spotted en route to the Juma’at service at the Central Mosque in Ọja’ba.

A man could be heard exclaiming, “We now have a real king in Ibadan!” in celebration of the monarch’s presence, reflecting the deep respect and high hopes the community places in their newly enthroned ruler.
Dailyeconomy on September 29, reported that an elderly man was captured prostrating in deep respect and reverence upon sighting a banner of Oba Ladoja.
Tinubu who attended the coronation on September 27 congratulated Oba Ladoja, on his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland noting that the coronation was a testament to perseverance, resilience, and dedicated service to community.
