Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei has revealed no plans for the next round of negotiations with the US, slamming recent American military actions as diplomatic sabotage.

“As of now, while I am at your service, we have no plans for the next round of negotiation, and no decision has been made in this regard,” Baqaei said in a press briefing.

He continued, “While claiming diplomacy and readiness for negotiations, the US is carrying out behaviours that do not in any way indicate seriousness in pursuing a diplomatic process.”

Baqaei called the US blockade and seizure of an Iranian cargo ship “clear violations of the ceasefire,” tying any future talks—potentially in Pakistan—to resolving these grievances.

Iran signaled a diplomatic pause while rebuilding military strength.

The spokesman also dismissed US concerns over enriched uranium: “It was not discussed with US negotiators” and “It was never raised as an option for us.”
