Vinicius breaks up with girlfriend

Viníus Júnior and influencer Virginia Fonseca have ended their relationship, Fonseca announced in an Instagram post on Friday.

In her statement, Fonseca said she would “always allow myself to live,” and described the breakup as a sober, respectful decision.

“Living something real, without fear, without calculations and without stopping who I am,” she wrote.

She reflected on her time with the Real Madrid forward, saying she devoted herself fully but never at the cost of her own boundaries.

“While we were together, I devoted myself a lot, as I dedicate myself to everything I intend to do in my life. But I’m also a woman, and I allowed myself to live this without creating any barriers, valuing the respect I have always had within any relationship,” she wrote.

Explaining why the relationship ended, Fonseca emphasised principle and maturity.

“Throughout my life, I’ve learned never to negotiate what, in my opinion, is non‑negotiable. So when something doesn’t make sense, I’d rather have the maturity to close with affection than remain for it. Today, we choose to respect each other’s way,” the post read.

She closed by expressing goodwill toward Vinícius and asking for privacy and respect.
