United States Vice President J.D. Vance has claimed that the United States has fully honored a recently signed ceasefire agreement with Iran and urged Tehran to use direct diplomatic channels if it disputes the memorandum of understanding’s (MOU) implementation.
Vance in a statement shared on X reiterated a firm U.S. deterrent, warning that “violence will be met with violence.”
“Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it.
“If they have disagreements about how the MOU is being applied, they can pick up the phone. But violence will be met with violence,” Vance had written.
