Why men should avoid reconciling with partners after cheating — Ruger

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Michael Olayinka well known as Ruger has given a reason not to reconcile with a woman after cheating on her.
Ruger in a social media post emphasised that rebuilding trust is extremely difficult after infidelity. The cheated-upon partner may never fully trust their partner again, leading to constant suspicion.
He stated that women who have been cheated on will possibly seek payback by cheating back on their partners even if they claim to have forgiven the man.
He wrote, “Never go back to a girl that caught you cheating! She go do her own back. Even if she forgives me in the name of God.”
Ruger rose to fame with the release of his song “Bounce”, which led him to sign a recording deal with Jonzing World, in 2021. That same year, he released his debut extended play, ‘Pandemic’. In 2024, he exited Jonzing World to start his own imprint, called ‘Blown Boy Entertainment’.
