Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have successfully repelled coordinated terrorist attacks on Tuesday at Kanama, Ngoshe, and Banki in Borno State.
A statement obtained from the Nigerian Army on Thursday confirmed the operation’s success with “no adverse reports recorded.”
The assaults were “decisively defeated through the vigilant response of troops and effective fire control,” underscoring OPHK’s “sustained combat readiness” and dominance over terrorists.
Follow-up airstrikes destroyed three terrorist gun trucks in Sambisa Forest and neutralized scores of fighters at Kaniram in Mallam Fatori after targeting burial activities.
Sector 1 troops rescued 15 abducted women and children near Mandara Mountains, while ineffective JAS projectiles hit Gwoza with no casualties.
“These coordinated successes highlight OPHK’s sustained offensive pressure,” the statement noted, as Military High Command commended troops and urged sustained operations.
