Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has dismissed suggestions that the 2025-26 Premier League title race is finished, insisting his side still holds the advantage with games remaining.

“There is still so much to play,” Arteta asserted after Arsenal’s recent loss to Manchester City narrowed the gap at the top.

Speaking to reporters, he added, “Title race over? No, there are five games for us and six for them. We are still three points ahead.”

The Gunners top the table in late April 2026 following a dominant season, but defeats like the one against City have intensified pressure heading into the final stretch.

Arsenal, chasing its first league crown since 2004 after three straight runner-up finishes, relies on squad resilience to hold off challengers.
