Barcelona maintain perfect start with 4-2 win over Levante

Barcelona continued their dominant beginning to the 2026/27 season by beating Levante 4-2 away in La Liga on Sunday afternoon.

Teenage defender Xavi Espart opened the scoring in the fifth minute with his first goal for the senior team.

Lamine Yamal then scored twice once in open play and once from the penalty spot before summer signing Karim Adeyemi added a late fourth.

Levante replied late through Iván Romero and Roger Brugué.

The victory takes Barcelona to 26 goals in their first six matches across all competitions.

Barcelona, the defending La Liga champions under Hansi Flick, have started the campaign in free-scoring fashion.

Young academy graduate Xavi Espart has forced his way into the starting lineup, while new arrival Karim Adeyemi (signed from Borussia Dortmund) is already contributing, and Lamine Yamal continues to lead the attack.
