FC Barcelona continued their blistering start to the 2026-27 La Liga season with a dominant 5-0 thrashing of Valencia at the Mestalla on Sunday, taking their tally to an extraordinary 17 goals scored across just four matches while remaining unbeaten.
The Catalan side have now scored five goals in three of their four league outings so far.
Raphinha leads the way with six goals, while Lamine Yamal and Fermín López have each contributed four.
The results read: 5-0 away at Elche, 2-0 at home to Athletic Club, 5-2 against Rayo Vallecano, and the latest 5-0 demolition of Valencia.
Only two goals have been conceded in the process.
Under head coach Hansi Flick, Barcelona have carried over the attacking momentum from their previous successful campaign.
The squad has been refreshed with high-profile arrivals, including Ballon d’Or winner Rodri from Manchester City who made his first start in the Valencia match, Karim Adeyemi, Gabriel Jesus and Anthony Gordon.
The early fireworks underscore the seamless integration of new talent alongside established stars like Raphinha, Yamal, Pedri and Fermín, positioning Barça as early frontrunners in La Liga.
