Bellingham, Espi fire Real Madrid past Espanyol in La Liga opener

Real Madrid began their 2026-27 La Liga campaign with a 2-1 victory over Espanyol late Saturday.
Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the ninth minute to give Madrid an early advantage, but Espanyol drew level through Cala in the 30th minute.
The match appeared set to end in a draw until C. Espi struck in the 90th minute, securing all three points for Real Madrid on the opening matchday of the season.
