Davido calls out entertainers, admits silence on Nigeria’s rising insecurity

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke alias Davido has admitted that Nigerian entertainers, himself included, have failed to use their platforms to speak out against growing injustices in the country.

The global star in a post shared via X on Saturday called for public figures to become more vocal.

“I can’t lie we entertainers .. we Dey fuckup I won’t lie including me … we need to speak up … it’s too much injustice goin on .. our country don go 💔🇳🇬,” Davido wrote on X, expressing deep frustration about what he described as a worsening national situation.

The post shared amid national outrage over the Oyo State school kidnappings, in which 25 children and seven teachers were abducted highlights rising public despair.
