Davido’s collaboration “B4 B4,” featuring Mayorkun and FOLA, has spent 36 days at number one on Spotify’s Nigeria Daily Top Songs chart, according to chart updates shared on Sunday.
The milestone places the track as the eighth longest-running number-one song in the chart’s history.
The song, a lively Afrobeats track produced by Fresh VDM, is the seventh song on Davido’s sixth studio album Oriadé, released on July 31, 2026.
The album title draws from Yoruba words meaning “the crowned destiny” and marks 15 years since the start of Davido’s recording career.
“B4 B4” quickly rose to the top of Spotify Nigeria shortly after release and has maintained a strong grip, still logging hundreds of thousands of daily streams.
Mayorkun, a longtime Davido Music Worldwide signee, and rising artist FOLA both gain significant visibility from the feature.
The track has also performed strongly across other platforms, including extended runs at number one on Apple Music Nigeria and multiple weeks atop official Nigerian charts that combine streaming and radio airplay.
It has generated substantial activity on TikTok as well.
Long number-one runs on Spotify Nigeria remain relatively rare and typically signal broad, sustained popularity in the country’s highly competitive Afrobeats scene.
The current leaders on the all-time list include longer reigns by songs such as CKay’s “BODY (danz)” featuring Mavo and earlier hits from Asake, Wizkid, and others. “B4 B4” continues Davido’s strong streak of chart-topping releases in recent years.
