FastClaim to host InsurTech dialogue on AI’s future in insurance

FastClaim Partnering Insurtech, a leading Nigerian insurance technology company is set to host the 2026 edition of its InsurTech Dialogue, an online industry event focused on the growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies on the insurance sector.

The virtual event, scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will be held under the theme, “Bridging Legacy Insurance with Future AI.”

The dialogue is expected to bring together insurance and technology professionals to examine how AI is reshaping traditional insurance processes and the opportunities it presents for improving efficiency, customer experience and innovation across the industry.

Speakers at the event include Ndubuisi Alu, Executive Director, Technical, at ; Modupe Kalejaiye, Head of Claims at Leadway Assurance; Dr. Nelson Madu, Chief Information Officer at Coronation Insurance; and Adedamola Oloko, Head, Innovation, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, who will serve as moderator.

Adeyinka Aderombi, Chief Digital Information Officer at Rex Insurance Ltd, is billed as the keynote speaker, while Ilung’a Chiyanya, Country Admin, FastClaim Zambia, will participate as the FPE demo presenter.
Raymond Akalonu, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ombrella Insurance Brokers, will host the programme.

According to the Chief Executive Officer, FastClaim Partnering Insurtech, Mr. Uche Okugo, the dialogue is designed to provide participants with insights into the transformation taking place at the intersection of insurance, technology and AI.

The event comes at a time when insurers are increasingly exploring digital technologies to modernise underwriting, claims management, customer engagement, risk assessment and other areas of their operations.

He said the online format would enable insurance professionals, technology practitioners, innovators and other interested participants to join from anywhere.
