I’ll keep playing football after Real Madrid exit, Carvajal confirms

Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal has confirmed he will continue playing next season, despite the club’s recent announcement that he will leave after 23 years at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In an interview with El Chiringuito TV, the 34-year-old defender declared, “The decision has been made and it’s very clear: I will keep playing football next season.”

Asked about potential suitors, he added simply, “Offers? We will see.”

Carvajal’s comments come days after Real Madrid confirmed his departure and the club staged an emotional farewell at the Bernabéu to honour his long service.

The fullback, who came through Real’s academy and made more than two decades of contributions at senior level, said he will assess his options in due course while remaining intent on extending his playing career.
