Makinde presents staff of office to reappointed Eleruwa

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has presented the staff and instruments of office to the reappointed Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola.

The ceremony which was held at the executive chambers of the governor’s office marked the official reinstatement of Oba Adegbola as the traditional ruler of Eruwa, the headquarters of Ibarapa East Local Government Area.

Oba Adegbola’s initial appointment was nullified in 2011 due to a legal challenge regarding the selection process.

Nevertheless, after years of legal battles and the resolution of chieftaincy issues, the Oyo State Government reinstated him, officially recognising his leadership in Eruwaland
