Real Madrid striker, Kylian Mbappé has admitted that an injury in January disrupted his bid for a flawless season at Real Madrid.
The France attacker in an interview noted that he recovered to finish the campaign in top form for Real Madrid and is already focused on helping France at the 2026 World Cup.
“I tried to have the best season possible at Real Madrid. The injury in January didn’t help me, but then I returned in the best shape,” Mbappé said, reflecting on a campaign that mixed high expectations, flashes of brilliance and a midseason setback.
“The World Cup is important for every player, of course,” he added, underscoring the tournament’s special significance and signaling strong personal motivation as France prepares for the 2026 competition.
