The naira was bought and sold at N1,520/$ and N1,530/$ at the parallel market on Monday, July 8, 2024 according to figures obtained from the Bureau de Change Operators.
It was traded at N1,920/£ and N1,950/ £, and N1,620/€ and N1,640/€ at the parallel market.
At the Investor & Exporter forex window, the naira hit a high of N1,540.75/$ before closing at N1,523.85$.
Total turnover at the official window was $133.46m, figures obtained from the FMDQ showed.
