André Onana is back at Manchester United and is scheduled to join the club’s pre-season under head coach Michael Carrick, sources say, after spending the previous season on loan in Turkey.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on Tuesday,“André Onana returns to Manchester United and current plan is to join pre-season under Michael Carrick.
“Understand Trabzonspor are still keen on keeping Onana and would like to discuss another loan deal, valid until June 2027. Talks will follow with #MUFC and Onana’s camp.”
Trabzonspor remain eager to retain the Cameroon international and have indicated they want to open talks about extending the goalkeeper’s loan through June 2027.
Further discussions are expected between Manchester United, Onana’s representatives and the Turkish side to determine the player’s next steps ahead of the new campaign.
