Real Madrid are unconcerned about the possibility of Vinícius Júnior departing for free when his contract expires in 2027 after the forward personally assured president Florentino Pérez he will not leave the club without a transfer fee, sources report.

According to journalist Látigo Serrano, Vini Jr told Pérez that he intends to remain at the Spanish giants for many more years.

The Brazil international reportedly emphasised that, even if a new contract is not agreed before 2027, he will not allow his exit to occur on a free transfer and would only depart via a paid move that secures a sizable fee for Real Madrid.

The assurance brings relief to the club hierarchy, which has faced periodic uncertainty over Vini’s long-term future amid ongoing talks over contract renewal.

Real Madrid view the player’s personal commitment to the president as a firm guarantee that protects the club’s sporting and financial interests ahead of the 2026–27 season.

Real Madrid and Vini’s camp have previously engaged in renewal discussions, but as of now no new deal has been publicly confirmed.

The forward remains a central figure in the squad and one of the club’s key attacking assets.
