Valverde eager to learn from Mourinho as new chapter begins

Real Madrid midfielder, Federico Valverde has expressed excitement about working with José Mourinho.

The captain in an interview on Wednesday highlighted his desire to absorb knowledge from the experienced coach.

Valverde said, “I’m eager to learn from José Mourinho, ready to try and listen to every piece of advice he gives me. To get the most out of every second, every minute of training I get to share with him and his coaching staff starting today.

“I’m going to try to learn, grow as a footballer and as a person. I think he’s a so special person from whom I can learn a lot.”

The comments come as Valverde prepares to train under Mourinho, who has taken charge of Real Madrid.
