Self-acclaimed social-media police, VeryDarkMan has weighed in on reports that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has reunited with her husband, billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko, following their recent marital crisis.
Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan in a video shared on his social media handles on Saturday pushed back against claims that Regina returned solely for the sake of her children, noting that she had reportedly been separated from them during the earlier phase of the dispute.
He also rejected the narrative that Regina was simply a victim of her much older husband, arguing that responsibility should also be placed on her mother, whom he accused of engineering the relationship and restricting Regina’s freedom to make independent choices.
In a video reaction, he said,
“Regina Daniels has gone back to the husband. I’m very happy. Somebody said Regina Daniels only went back because of her children. She no see the children when she go before? Why she no care much about the children to stay before?”
He added, “If na poor man she go come back? They said she was so young, he took advantage of the girl. Bro, the person that took advantage of the girl was the mother. And I’ll still say it. The mother is still that girl’s problem until this world ends.”
VeryDarkMan maintained that Regina should not be blamed for the situation, describing the relationship as one in which “two adults took advantage of a young woman, simple.”
The activist also criticised the significant age gap between Regina and Ned Nwoko, suggesting their generations are “far apart.”
According to him, Regina’s mother played a major role in initiating and sustaining the relationship, allegedly preventing the actress from having enough freedom to explore life and make independent decisions.
“The mother engineered the whole thing even without her father’s consent. She no allow the girl explore. You know how old Ned dey? Their generations are far apart. Him generation dey far. Regina Daniels’ generation dey even below our own…,” he said.
His comments have reignited debate over the couple’s reunion, with supporters and critics dissecting his claims about parental influence, age disparity, and the broader dynamics of the marriage.
