Video: ‘He’ll be bigger than me’ — Ronaldo praises son’s potential at Al Nassr

Football world-class, Cristiano Ronaldo has praised the potential of his son, Cristiano Jr., after watching him train with Al Nassr’s youth team in Saudi Arabia.
In a video clip, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is seen observing a youth training session involving Cristiano Jr. and other academy players.
While watching his son, Ronaldo appeared impressed by the teenager’s physical development and potential, saying, “He will be bigger than me.”
The Al Nassr captain also highlighted the importance of toughness, determination and maintaining the hunger to succeed in football.
According to Ronaldo, talent alone is not enough to guarantee a successful career.
“Believe in yourself because talent is not enough,” he has previously advised young players.
“You have to work through the talent. If not, you’re not going to achieve the most important thing.”
Cristiano Jr., who has followed his father through youth systems at clubs including Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid, currently trains with Al Nassr’s academy setup.
He has continued to attract attention as he develops his own football career under the close observation of his legendary father.
Ronaldo has repeatedly stressed that young players must combine ability with discipline and hard work, warning that maintaining motivation can be one of the biggest challenges in reaching the highest level of the game.
