United States President Donald Trump has called the recent summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin “good”.
Trump while speaking with reporters asserted he gets along with both leaders and claiming he had prior knowledge of their meeting plans.
Asked, “What do you make of Xi meeting with Putin this week?”
In response, Trump said, “I think it’s good. I get along with both of them.”
He then shifted tone to compare the summit’s pageantry with his own events, saying, “I don’t know if the ceremony was quite as brilliant as mine. I watched. I think we topped them.”
Dailyeconomy on May 12, reported that Trump departed the White House for a state visit to Beijing, setting off on a high-stakes historic trip to America’s top adversary.
