Video: ‘My wife can move on with another partner next day’, Oba Solomon issues unusual burial instructions

Controversial Nigerian YouTuber, content creator and self-styled prophet Solomon Adekunle Adelaja, popularly known as Oba Solomon, has sparked widespread reactions after outlining unconventional instructions for his burial and what should happen after his death.
In a viral video circulating on Wednesday, the cleric directed his followers, “All my church members, listen, when I die, take my bed away and bury me in my room. Whoever changes my decision will die miserably.”
He rejected traditional arrangements, stating there should be no cemetery, no mortuary and no embalming chemicals.
He also instructed that people should wait until around 4pm before carrying out the necessary arrangements, regardless of whether he dies in the morning or at midnight.
On the personal side, Oba Solomon said his wife would be free to move on and find another partner the following day.
Oba Solomon in the video noted he framed it as a clear command and added that he would do the same if she died before him.
Oba Solomon, known for his outspoken, often humorous and highly unconventional public statements on religion, culture and social issues, has built a large following on social media platforms through live sessions and controversial commentary.
He has previously drawn attention for bold claims about his age, spiritual authority and critiques of mainstream religious practices.
