Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed repeated questions about Lionel Messi during a brief post-match exchange.
Speaking with journalists, Ronaldo said, “I couldn’t care less about others,” before adding, “Mbappé also scored.”
A 10-second video circulating on social media captured Ronaldo’s visible frustration as journalists pressed him to comment on comparisons with Messi amid Portugal’s ongoing campaign.
The forward’s curt reply and quick pivot to Kylian Mbappé’s goal, rather than discussing Messi — set off a flurry of reaction online.
“People talk too much. I couldn’t care less about others,” Ronaldo said in the clip, then noted the notable contribution from France’s Mbappé.
