Aerial footage captured late last night shows thousands of Iranians flooding Revolution Square at 3 am, their voices echoing through the darkened capital with fervent pro-regime chants.
“We all follow the line of our leader. We are the ones who attack the ranks of the enemy, all of us together. La Illaha Illah Allah! La Illaha Illah Allah!” the crowd roared, fists raised in unison under floodlights and a starry sky.
The massive nighttime gathering underscores a stark irony in the recent U.S.-Israel war with Iran, which began with targeted strikes in February 2026.
Promoted by President Donald Trump as a swift path to regime change—focusing on leadership decapitation and precision attacks—the conflict has instead galvanized hardliners and sparked genuine mass mobilisation.
Far from fracturing the Islamic Republic, the 10-week war appears to have consolidated public support around Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who is issuing uncompromising demands for retaliation and U.S. withdrawal from the region.
The rally follows fresh U.S. moves to bolster allies: The State Department approved $8.6 billion in military sales to Israel, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE, including Patriot missile systems and munitions to replenish stocks depleted by Iranian counterattacks.
