United States President Donald Trump made a theatrical entrance on the final day of the 2026 G7 summit, walking into the leaders’ session late and declared “I’m the boss” as cameras rolled.
Video of the moment shows Trump entering the room, exchanging greetings with fellow leaders, and taking a seat beside French President Emmanuel Macron.
The remark drew laughter from the group, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Macron, briefly cutting through a summit otherwise focused on weighty issues such as support for Ukraine, tensions with Iran, economic security and rules for artificial intelligence.
In the clip, Trump is seen offering Starmer a friendly pat on the back before joining the discussion.
Delegations then resumed talks on joint measures to pressure Russia over the war in Ukraine, coordinated responses to Iran’s regional activity, and frameworks for protecting critical supply chains and regulating advanced AI systems.
