Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile has turned a once-doubtful studio line into a celebratory message after Arsenal secured the Premier League title.
In a post accompanying a short studio clip, Zlatan shared that he refused to change a lyric that questioned whether Arsenal could still “bottle” the league with three matches remaining.
Now, with Arsenal crowned champions and a 22‑year trophy drought ended, the rapper used that same line to congratulate the club’s supporters.
He wrote on social media, “ARSENAL CAN STILL BOTTLE THE LEAGUE. Na 3 matches to go they said at the studio that day !!! I said I’m not changing that line. Every thing dey always align for this side.
“Congratulations to every arsenal fan out there I’m genuinely happy for you guys.”
Many fans hailed Zlatan as a “prophet” for keeping the line unchanged, while others criticised Nigerians who overtly prioritise foreign clubs over the domestic league.
