Ecobank Adire Lagos Experience 2026 ends on a high note, attracts over 30,000 visitors

The fifth edition of the Ecobank Adire Lagos Experience concluded on a vibrant and successful note on Sunday, following four days of celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, promoting indigenous fashion and textiles, and creating economic opportunities for entrepreneurs across Africa.

The international fair attracted over 30,000 visitors, shoppers, exhibitors, industry stakeholders, and cultural enthusiasts to the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC), Victoria Island, Lagos.

Hundreds of exhibitors showcased an extensive range of Adire fabrics, fashion accessories, footwear, leather products, arts and crafts, beauty products, and other locally made goods. The event provided participants with opportunities to connect with customers, access new markets, establish business partnerships, and expand their professional networks.

The 2026 edition attracted an impressive lineup of distinguished guests, including former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka; the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; captains of industry; senior banking executives; traditional rulers and their spouses; government officials; members of the diplomatic corps; development partners; and other notable personalities.

Exhibitors expressed appreciation to Ecobank Nigeria for providing a unique platform to showcase their products, increase sales, engage directly with customers, and generate valuable business leads.

Visitors and shoppers also commended Ecobank for sustaining the initiative over the years, noting that the fair has become a major platform for promoting local enterprise, creativity, cultural tourism, and African craftsmanship.

Commenting on the successful conclusion of the fair, Managing Director/Regional Executive, Ecobank Nigeria, Mr. Bolaji Lawal, thanked exhibitors, partners, customers, government agencies, members of the diplomatic community, the media, and thousands of visitors for their support and participation.

According to him, the success of this year’s edition reinforces Ecobank’s commitment to supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), promoting local industries, and creating sustainable opportunities for businesses to grow and thrive.
