Stop oppressing people with police, Seun Kuti tells Iyabo Ojo

In response to the ongoing feud between the Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo and the social media influential, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, the veteran Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has advised Iyabo Ojo to stop using the police to oppress people.
In a viral video, Ojo accused Kuti of supporting VeryDarkMan’s online stunts.
In response to Ojo’s allegation, Kuti shared a video on his Instagram account claiming he’s not a ‘confusionist’ and he has never opposed her (Ojo) for fighting VeryDarkMan.
According to the video, Kuti could be heard saying, “I’m not a ‘confusionist’. And there was no time I opposed you fighting VeryDarkMan. I only said you shouldn’t be locking people up; If you’re angry, I said you shouldn’t use the police to oppress people, please, don’t be angry. Continue to be an oppressor. Use the police to arrest everyone. In fact, come and arrest me too. You guys are the billionaires, the owners of Nigeria, if you get angry, everywhere will explode. So don’t be angry.
“I apologise for myself and on behalf of VeryDarkMan. Please, don’t flex your power. Nonsense”.
Verydarkman according to his lawyer was detained by police months ago by Tonto Dikeh Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and singer Samklef on charges of defamation.
