U.S. ready to completely decimate Iran if assassination threats proceed — Trump

United States President Donald Trump has warned that “1000 missiles are locked and loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Trump in a statement shared on social media noted that “thousands of more” would follow if Tehran “acts on its threat to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!”

In the statement that invoked both military force and religious language, Trump said, “Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran — PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!”

The declaration, which follows reports of alleged Iranian plots and comes amid heightened U.S.–Iran tensions, escalates rhetorical confrontation between the two countries.
