Video: Iran describes US-led negotiations as ‘dictation’
Abdullateef Fowewe
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, has dismissed United States demands in potential talks.
“We should not negotiate to accept the conditions of America,” he stated.
“If a negotiation is based on one side imposing conditions on the other, that is not negotiation; it is dictation and imposition.”
He further emphasised, “The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian nation will never accept such imposition.”
The remarks highlight escalating U.S.-Iran frictions this month, including stalled nuclear program discussions, regional security disputes, and economic strains on Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz.
