Workers with pension accounts under CPS rise to 11,270,361– PenCom

The total number of workers with Retirement Savings Accounts under the Contributory Pension Scheme as of the end of May 2026 hit 11,270,361 according to data obtained by Daily Economy from the National Pension Commission (PenCom).

PenCom’s unaudited report on the pension fund industry portfolio, covering the period ended 31 May 2026—including Approved Existing Schemes, Closed Pension Fund Administrators, RSA funds, unremitted contributions at the Central Bank of Nigeria, and legacy funds, also showed that total assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) rose to N31.323tn.
