At least four Iranian ballistic missiles struck Jordan’s King Faisal Air Base overnight, according to reports and footage circulating on social media.
The base, which hosts U.S. military assets and personnel, came under direct attack from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as part of the broader Middle East escalation.
Videos shared online appear to show multiple missile impacts, with Jordanian and U.S. air defense systems, including Patriots, struggling to intercept all incoming projectiles.
Jordanian authorities stated that their forces intercepted four missiles that entered the kingdom’s airspace, while Iran claimed successful strikes on U.S.-related infrastructure at the base.
This strike occurs within a larger, ongoing regional war that intensified earlier in 2026, involving direct exchanges between Iran, the United States, Israel, and various proxies.
Jordan has faced multiple attempts by Iranian forces or aligned groups to target its air bases (including Prince Hassan and Muwaffaq Salti), which support U.S. operations.
