Femi Babafemi, NDLEA’s Director of Media & Advocacy, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday stating, “A 60-year-old man Romanus Nwabara was among three persons with disability (PWD) arrested for drug trafficking.”
Nwabara was nabbed in Akpaka Forest, Onitsha, with 250g of skunk. In Ogbunike, 25-year-old Amos Kenneth had 160.3g Tramadol, Diazepam pills, Exol-5, and 176.93g skunk.

In Lagos’ Lekki Phase 1, a special unit raided a mansion at 36 African Lane, seizing 2,326kg (4,000 parcels) of Loud cannabis worth over N5.815 billion, two Mercedes Benz buses, and packaging materials.
Other seizures included 129kg skunk from Emmanuel Osita Okeke in Nasarawa; 766kg from a J5 bus on Okene/Lokoja highway with three arrests; and 270 liters of skuchies plus Tramadol from a Lagos factory where Bose Jamiu and Gbenga Gege were caught mixing drugs.
NDLEA also ran War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) talks in schools and communities across Nasarawa, Ekiti, Enugu, Abia, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Kano, and Oyo.
NDLEA Chairman Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) commended the operations, urging sustained efforts in supply reduction and sensitization.
