Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, hosted Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden to Abuja on Monday as part of her three-day official visit aimed at boosting diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
During her visit, Princess Victoria met with Nigeria’s Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, at the State House.

In a statement, Tuggar emphasised that this year marks the 56th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
He emphasised that discussions during the visit focused on expanding partnerships in trade, green energy, technology, and structured migration.
Also present at the meeting was Andreas Carlson, Sweden’s Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, who joined the discussions on future cooperation.
As part of her visit, Princess Victoria toured the Atrium Art Gallery at Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she celebrated Sweden’s cultural contributions.
